Think Outside the (toy) Box

Back in March, for a few birthdays our friends had, I decided against toys and made something for their rooms instead. The little guy's name starts with E and the girl's, an A. What better way to use buttons from my stash? Ella and I sat at the table and glued away getting each button to go in the right spot. I even used some of my vintage buttons I've picked up over the years. So, the next time you're invited to a birthday, maybe you could make something fun and easy with the kids instead of paying for toys. Not that toys aren't loved by children, but maybe for the Mom's sake...wink wink.

The letters are white wood letters with hook holes already in the back of them from Michael's Craft Store.
